At a remote and secretive NSA base, a young female intelligence analyst and a veteran contractor intercept what can only be described as electronic voice phenomena. Through their investigation, they soon learn that what they heard is the voice of a forgotten victim who may be linked to a recent disappearance.
Captain Abby Parker arrives on the isolated Shemya base to a small divided band of unwanted military officers, tasked with monitoring Russian and Chinese communication using the behemoth ‘Cobra Dane’ listening post. She soon learns that the base has more than its share of secrets, and that there are other things than old gun batteries beyond the fences.
The secretive and chilling Captain Calloway, head of operations on the base, is at odds with DARPA officer Jake Eastman, who is charged with setting up and maintaining the ‘Cobra Dane’.
